01/06/26 - Discipline Without Force
In this episode, I reflect on commitment, discipline, and how structure needs to work differently for neurodivergent minds. I share insights from starting morning pages and realizing that free writing alone can open mental loops without closing them. I talk about why meaning-making tools are essential for resolving obsessive thought patterns and how nervous system regulation changes everyday experiences. I also share moments of unexpected joy and regulation while navigating a rural village in the rain, and how playful expression through music and movement feels deeply healing for me. Finally, I reflect on breaking cycles of burnout, medication, and overwork, and how stepping away from an unaligned life has helped me reclaim health, joy, and self-trust.
